Birge House offers large, furnished one-bedroom apartments in an eight-story building. They are easily big enough to share: bedrooms are appx. 245 sq. ft. and the living rooms are almost 200 sq. ft. There are just four apartments on each floor, allowing for a quiet, private living experience.

Never had any issues with maintenance after living for a year. Friendly neighbors and great customer service. Would recommend this place.
submitted by Craig O. - |Recommended: YesGreat building, great location — Overall, the Birge House and Steve Brown Apartments has been a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location especially being an engineering student at UW. It is a slightly older building, so there were a couple plumbing issues, but maintenance is quick to respond and does a great job. I definitely enjoyed living here.
