|Recommended: NoNot an ideal place to live — While the bedrooms are a nice size and the price-point is nice, I regret not paying up to live elsewhere. The building always has a strange smell to it, there are stains in the elevator, on the hallway carpet, and really just everywhere. This building is marketed to college students and yet I don't believe this is a safe or comfortable choice for college students, especially girls, based on other demographics that live here. There is no ventilation in the bathroom which makes it a perfect breeding ground for mildew and other smelly things. I don't feel clean stepping out of the shower and there's hardly enough room to move around. The paint job before I moved in was spotty and there are marks on the ceiling that were never touched before I moved in either. The mattresses provided are uncomfortable, plastic-covered boxes. There is usually at least one washing machine or dryer out of order, leaving two to the whole 9 floors of the building.
|Recommended: YesGreat apartment — I love this apartment The staffs are so kind. I think it is the best value apartment among those around the campus.

|Recommended: YesVery good, worth living except some noise — Sometimes I can hear my neighbors clearly.
|Recommended: YesQuaint — You get what you see and that's that. The website has some misinformation.
|Recommended: NoLess for a lot of rent — The apartment units are tiny For what rent I pay, there will be spacious houses apartments available elsewhere in Madison. Also, there is also no 6 month lease available.
|Recommended: YesNot bad experience — Not bad experience
|Recommended: YesThis apartment is perfect — This apartment is fully equipped so it's convenient moving in and living here. It's close to State Street and market and I really like that.
|Recommended: YesThe property is really good, just need better maintenance for the Laundry Room and Gym — The treadmill in the gym makes a lot of noise and one washing machine in the Laundry has been dis-functional for 20 days now. There is also alot of hair in the machine as well as a shortage of machines whenever I go. Is it possible to increase the number of machines

|Recommended: YesReasonably priced furnished apartments in location conventient to downtown and UW campus. — No frills furnished one and two bedroom apartments on historic tree-lined street. Best rent for location, and building comes with WI-FI, gym, study room with TV, computer room, free laundry and outside patio. Public areas are cleaned weekly. Property managers assist with roommate referrals. Roomy bedrooms with wall-to wall closets. Excellent on-line resources, professional staff at office.
|Recommended: NoNo maintenance — I have reported problems in my apartment when I fist checked in, but most of them were not solved It is already three month
|Recommended: NoGood for the price, but will splurge in the future — I like the highlander for individual leases and closeness to campus, but I don't love the thin walls and old noisy AC units.
