|Recommended: YesGood clean apartment, but not a quiet sanctuary if working from home — These apartments are of the old but nice variety. The location is great, right by a bus line. And the pet policy is nice if you have a furry friend. Unfortunately, the side of the building facing University Ave receives a ton of road and alley noise. Loud trucks, cars with busted mufflers, garbage trucks, buses, ambulances, and more are a constant throughout the day. This is exacerbated by the old single pane windows which don't block sound well. In summer, the lack of central air means your windows will have to be open in the warm months or 1-2 window AC's will be needed. If you park on the street, you'll want to get a spot on Shepherd Terrace the night before as early-shift hospital workers fill the road up or get a pass from the city to avoid the 2 hr rules.
|Recommended: YesGreat place and neighborhood to live in. — Neighbors are quite, there are never any issues. The neighborhood is really nice and great to walk your dog around, if you have one. Easy access to bus stops and nearby restaurants shopping. It is also very close to campus and takes less than 20 minutes to get there by bus. The maintenance are the best, they are very helpful and super fun people.
