|Recommended: YesAn okay place to live — It's not great but it's not terrible. The noise was the worst thing
|Recommended: YesNice location — Nice location, but noisy
|Recommended: YesCalm, Cool, Enough for two people. — Its okay. Its expensive for a studio.

response from property -We are in 2018!!!
|Recommended: YesGood, but has much room for improvement — It has the bare essentials you need to get by, but the staff have done a horrible job of maintaining there apartments. For example, the ac unit isn't installed properly in my apartment and as a result there is a small hole in the wall that goes all the way to the outside world.
|Recommended: YesJust What I Needed — I wanted to find a quiet place to live alone, and Henry Gilman was perfect Most times I felt like the only one in the building in terms of noise. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my leasing process and my stay at Henry Gilman. The new online portal is great, and the common areas are nice. My only complaint, the printer rarely has paper or ink.
|Recommended: YesNothing special, but can't go wrong living here. — A bit loud, but the contemporary renovated rooms are pretty nice. I've been happy living here.
Thank you for the feedback, Benjamin!
|Recommended: YesI have really enjoyed living at 501 N. Henry Street and the surrounding location — You can trust that if there is a maintenance issue that things will be cared for promptly.
Thank you, Brooke!
|Recommended: NoNot worth what you pay for — The dryer's don't work so you always have wet clothes even after contacting Steve Brown Apartments multiple times about it, the parking costs the same for a surface lot as it would a nice ramp elsewhere, there is a building right next door who's fire alarm goes off every Thursday night at 11 30pm or 12 30am depending on daylight savings so if you live close to the ground level it always wakes you, the stairwell has a leak so when it rains it gets wet, the stairwell smells like weed almost 90 of the time, and the apartment has electric heat which is just downright expensive. It may sound nice to have a rent that's only 795 in Madison, but after all of the added costs it's about 1000. You might as well live in a nice place for that much rather than this one.
|Recommended: YesIt's awesome — It's quiet and has a huge community room.
