|Recommended: YesNew Apartment — great place with a lot more room
|Recommended: YesNew tenants at the Laurel — We like the cleanliness of the grounds, the tasteful and spacious interior design and pleasant finishes, ample storage in the apartment, dog washing station. Concerns loud machinery in the wall next to the bedroom rattling at night with the wall vibrating might be poor insulation in the construction of the ac unit rooms or unbalanced compressor , insufficient storage units in the building had to rent a storage unit elsewhere which is inconvenient .
|Recommended: YesVery Pleased — Nice facility along with a helpful staff.
|Recommended: YesMoved from Condo to Apartment — We moved from a condo to the Laurel at Kilkenny apartments. On move in day we mentioned that there was some touch up painting we thought needed to be done previous tenants moved the night before . The very next morning someone came and painted all the wall touch ups we requested. The communication and fast responses are amazing Thank you.
|Recommended: YesTerrific new home — Very easy move in process. Great communication from the property staff with move in instructions. Thought it was very professional to get an email from the Sr. property manager Ashley welcoming and thanking me for choosing the Laurel at Kilkenny. My apartment on move in day was clean freshly painted. very nice touch to repaint . Overall great experience so far.
|Recommended: NoThe new management team is sub-par and frequently enters resident's apartments without notice, for non-emergency situations. Additionally, our AC unit has been broken since we moved in a year ago. Around 4-5 different maintenence companies inspected it, they each said the unit needed to be replaced. Management ended up erasing all of our repair requests on the internal portal, so we discovered no one else was going to replace it or even attempt to fix it.
After the last inspection, no response from management team, and not being able to cool our apartment below 80 degrees with little kids, we were forced to live with family for a couple months until the weather naturally cooled down in the fall. Would not recommend.
|Recommended: YesLove the Laurel Living — Quiet and convenient with lovely second floor views. Pet friendly and lots of great walking. Love the washer and dryer inside the unit. Quality construction and super clean upon move in.
Very helpful and attentive staff in person, didn’t have the best luck with them returning my phone calls to confirm the move in process.
Welcome packet with keys and fobs, was not clear where to pick up on move in day we did not move in on the 1st the garage opener did not open for our building had to exchange at the main office a ways away from the Laurel. Ashley was sweet and went to get our welcome packet for us since we didn’t know we had to pick it up at the main office. We honesty didn’t know there was a main office .
Not great in three areas. No EV charger in garage, cords for the blinds and shades are not pet child safe both of my dogs got their heads caught in the metal chains that hang to the floor the elevators are too small to fit larger furniture pieces, so up the stairs you go with it all.
|Recommended: YesClean — Snow removal is pretty bad during winter season
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live with amazingly helpful staff. This property is in a great location and the building itself is well built and has tons of amenities.
|Recommended: NoToo many fees — Honestly its a nice place but the number of fees and general lack of maintenance before we moved in is really concerning given the rent amount
|Recommended: YesGreat Pet Friendly Place — The Laurel at Kilkenny has been very nice so far. Hardly ever any noise and yet very dog friendly. The place looks great and is fairly well maintained.
|Recommended: YesManagement — Great personel to work with.
|Recommended: YesLove loving here — There is nothing I can say negative about our apartment, the people who live here and generally community of Laurel of Kilkenny I
|Recommended: NoWe have lived here since the property first opened. We came from another Steve Brown property and we’re hoping for better changes. We purposely Chose a third floor apartment due to loud noises on bottom floors at other property locations. Upon moving in our air conditioning did not work and maintenance took forever to fix. They were never clear with communication. Our dishwasher has been leaking and maintenance has come to look at it, however they have never found a problem. We are able to see water stains on the baseboard as a result. The main hallway carpet is never cleaned and there are pet urine spots everywhere. There is never any property manager on site, which is troublesome when problems arise. The internet is horrible - provided by Restech. It constantly goes out and it’s never fixed in a timely manner.
|Recommended: YesWe love our new home — We have been at The Laurel at Kilkenny for a couple weeks now, we are very satisfied and settling in. The property is modern, very well constructed, walls floors doors solid and quiet, modern design. I have already recommended to a friend who is looking. The only downside was at move-in - washing machine did not work maintenance did not come for about 3 day..I called it in Friday after hours and oven stove was not well cleaned fire alarm went off first time used and I had to do a lot of cleaning, the rest of apartment was very clean and ready.
