|Recommended: YesIt was nice and a great alternative to the dorms — a nice place with many amenities
|Recommended: NoIt was alright — Be wary of the elevators breaking down.
|Recommended: YesGreat property, clean, in a great location, and a friendly staff — This apartment building is in a great location, with access to bus 6 and the campus. Trader Joe's and Kwik Trip are very close. The apartment was good, except for the issues with heating I had over winter. I had to get a portable heater in order to keep the temperature in my room at a bearable level. Other than that, this was a great experience
|Recommended: NoVery expensive — I pay a lot of rent for not a lot of space. Although my roommates both had bigger rooms than I did, we all payed equal rent. The utilities fee was also very high.
|Recommended: YesOverall great experience — The staff is really friendly and nice, and overally it's a pretty nice, really cant say I have any complaints
|Recommended: YesReview — Calm environment with friendly staff.
|Recommended: NoOverpriced for what you get, but friendly staff. — I would suggest living somewhere else because the price in relation to the space and overall quality is not worth it. However, the staff at the Regent is incredibly helpful and friendly and that is very much appreciated.
|Recommended: NoCheaply built and overpriced — Very cramped, definitely not worth the money. Can find better location and parking for much less money on campus. Rent flexibility is nice, and the dorm program seemed to have fun events, but definitely do not live here if you need a three bedroom place.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to stay — It's a great place to stay, though the rent is on the higher end. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Did not have any major issues with the apartment and the maintenance request was handled in a timely manner. One drawback is not being able to control the heating in the apartment as it is centralized.
|Recommended: YesBroken items — community is generally good but a lot of things are broken and don’t work but were never fixed after putting them on the original check in sheet
|Recommended: YesIt was all around great — It is a bit pricey but the staff is nice, everything is clean, and all around it is good.
|Recommended: NoClarence is the only front desk management personal of any help or understanding. The apartment is dirty when you move in simply because they are so poorly taken care of they are impossible to get clean. Only half our stove works, we’re missing a towel rack that they just covered up the holes for and painted over, the carpets are matted, and the shower is hardly big enough for a 5’3 girl. They shut down the elevator on the far East side 3 4 of the way through the year and then only had one main elevator working for about 2 weeks...had to call an elevator to go down by using the up button. When you talk to the front desk management about any of these problems they give incompetent excuses. I pay as much to share a room here as it costs to share a room in the hub, completely overpriced. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and feel sorry for everyone who’s had to experience this place.
|Recommended: YesGreat Experience — I lived at The Regent for two years and I am very satisfied with my experience. The staff was always very pleasant and nice. The few issues that came up were handled by management very quickly and well. The building was always kept pretty clean and there were never any noise issues. Overall, I had a great experience.
|Recommended: YesGood Living if you have Good Neighbors — Anyone above or two either side of you has a party, it's impossible to sleep. The garbage rooms tend to end up overflowing, especially over the weekend. Otherwise The rooms are good, the kitchen appliances work, the bathrooms are clean. Good place to live.
|Recommended: YesGreat college housing option — Great building and management - Nice size bedrooms with all furniture needed. Note if you do not have a living room, you will need futons couches in bedrooms Facilities are awesome all issues are handled quickly. Lot of nearby food options and in the shadow of Camp Randall - also right on bus line. Only reason leaving was to be downtown, but staying with Steve Brown Apts.
